Jeda Villa

Going GREEN

Jeda Villa offers many features designed to reduce its impact on the environment. Low watt, long life, lighting fixtures help to save energy and timers and sensors are used to avoid excess power consumption.

Low energy consumption air-conditioners are installed. The villas also have low energy consumption fridges.

Solar-panels are installed to power the deep well-pump, two pool-pumps and a house inverter/battery system has been installed.  75 % of the electricity power in and around the villas runs on solar energy. Jeda Villa has ambitious goals to achieve 100 % renewable energy in a few years.

In the villas a water purification-device has been installed to avoid the use of plastic water bottles. Jeda Villa has closed septic tanks to avoid polluting the ground water.

The gardens of Jeda Villa are designed to keep rainwater on the land as much as possible to achieve higher ground water levels over the years.  This way  the gardens consume less water. Most of the plants and trees selected are resistant to the dry, hot tropical climate of this part of North-Bali (Pemuteran has only one third of the rains the east, west and south part of Bali).
