The Hall & the Rumbold Families: Simply perfect!
Monday, 25 July 2011 09:20

From the minute you arrive at these superbly designed villas you know you have made a great call in visiting this quieter region of Bali. The area has so much charm but still offers great dinning, cheep spa treatments and cold beer. However, with the hills to my right and views of the ocean to my left, a cool breeze and my own pool stretching out froom the living room, there was very little reason to leave the villa at all. This as good as a villa environment gets anywhere near this price range. The place proved remarkably child friendly with loads of room to run, swim and explore. The staff cook, clean and drive for you and could not have been more friendly. What a fantastic hiding place. Simply perfect.

This place is so amazing - you will never find the right words to describe or to measure it! We stayed there 14 days and were so luky to have the chance of living in all three villas! The villas are so big and offer so much living space with perfect stylish design. The pools are really big, the rooms and bathrooms are absoultely perfect clean. But the best is the unbelievebale views that you can enjoy from everywhere of the villa and the gardens (every garden about 10000m² -or even more). The staffs are perfectly friendly and selamat and his family take care about everything that you need. And the food is absolutely great! Also the breakfast - the best that you can get in north bali. So all in a word? : Pefectdreamlovespaceviewbalimountainoceanhideawaystylegardencultureplacetonevergohomeagain! We come back!

The best feeling was arriving to discover that Jeda Villa was better than the photos. The design, furnishing, the lighting and the pool ah !, so good. The people of Jeda were so nice and helpful, seafood BBQ great. The garden, the view and climate, from all the different places one could go and lounge around was perfect. The only holiday that we have had that will have us coming back to do it again. Thanks Nico & Bart for creating such a wonderful place with such great space.

This was our first experience with a villa rental and what a pleasurable experience it turned out to be. What a place to stay. Every member of the staff was friendly and made you feel totally at home. The villa was beautifully furnished, very comfortable with enough books and DVD to keep you totally occupied. The girls Putu, Norr and Iluh where truly delightful, nothing was too much troulble for them. They kept the villa spotless clean as well as providing beautifully cooked meals, with plenty of variety using fresh local produce. Sudi the assistant Manager was great, taking us on short trips around the area and providing lots of background information, even got an invite to his cousins wedding which we thoroughly enjoyed. Selemat the Manager made sure that we wanted for nothing. Nico and Bart is was a pleasure to stay in your villa with your lovely dogs Winston and Boris. This was the most relaxing and enjoyable trip to Bali that we have ever had and will definitely be returning next year.

The hosts and crew are wonderful and all your hopes and wishes will be fulfilled the moment you arrive. Great Diving in the area which was arranged for me by Jeda Villa as well. All in all if I ever get back to Bali I hope I will be able to stay at the Jeda Villa again! A dream getaway in Paradise!

We would like to thank Bart and Nico for a fabulous few days at Jeda Villa, if only our trip was a week longer. The staff were great, Sudi took us where ever we needed to go and organised everything from lunch, site seeing and snorkelling. The food, the Villa, the views, the music selection, the bathrooms, the design, we couldn't fault a thing. We will certainly be back. Great job guys. See you again soon, Joel and antoun

Quirijnen family: Dream Holiday!!!

We certainly have enjoyed Jeda villa. I remember that Nico one of the owners mailed and quoted “and if you wake up the first morning you will find yourself in Paradise”. We’ve had a paradise experience from the beginning till the end. You have enormously succeeded with the Jeda “product”. We as guests felt comfortable and Jeda happens to give you a very luxurious feel. Perhaps the best reaction gave Ruben, our son. That was because we thought the Internet presentation of Jeda had presented us with something so beautiful that could never come true or be realistic "It's real!" He exclaimed when we arrived at Jeda Villa.

We have experienced each corners, couch and place all over the house and everywhere it was excellent. Great places to read, lay down, enjoy and see the views. We have not been away from the villa a lot because we wanted as much as possible enjoy the comfort of the villa.

When I talk about the “ Jeda product “, I am referring primarily to the villa itself and the beautiful pool, which in our view has all the amenities and luxury you could wish for. Similarly, we also became very fond of the staff: what a warm welcome every day!! and each of the staff members have qualities in their own way: Selamat, quietly in the background, but always there at the right time, Sudi, as the example of Balinese friendliness and cheerfulness, with whom we did some beautiful trips in the area: the boys of the garden and pool, which we were continually greeted by as if we saw them for the first time and last but not least, the ladies of the house who clean and cook, and they really cook good! I must confess that initially we had to get used to doing nothing and not helping out. We are so used to do things ourselves, but very subtly the staff gave signs that we could be guests. We “surrendered” ourselves eventually.

It will not come as a surprise to you! We want to come back. Please make a reservation for next August the last two weeks. We like to see more of Indonesia and come for a period of five weeks. Please help us with suggestions where to go and the do’s and dont’s

Thank you family Quirijnen, Amsterdam Netherlands

Paul Haarhuis: Fantastic Villa

This villa was fantastic ! Having always stayed in numerous luxury hotels all over the world,  this was truly a change of pace. The villa enabled me to unwind from my 'crazed' business existence. I heard that if you go Bali, you should never stay too long in the south. Too many people, too much traffic... But where to go ? Somebody told me about North Bali, not to go to Lovina, but to go to Pemuteran instead. I'm so happy I listened to her advice. The beaches in Pemuteran are so quiet. Having stayed in the south for two days, I understand the difference. The beach was completely free of sellers. But then the villa! What a beautiful place. So well designed, so well decorated. The views were so grand.... so impressive. You could see the ocean and  Javanese volcanoes, just like they said on the website. The skies were amazing, especially during sunset-hours. It made me not want to leave the villa. I spent hours and hours just reading at the poolside, in the gazebo. Food and drinks were being taken care of by the staff. They offered a lovely menu with great dishes. The private cook was absolutely fantastic. Everything well prepared with ingredients from a nearby organic farm. I ate out just a few times, but nothing compared to the meals at home. The staff was very friendly and not intrusive. It's not like you have a butler on your side all the time... So, it was very pleasant.
The mountains behind the villa were astonishingly beautiful. Where else can you stay and feel so much part of nature ? A true paradise. In the evening it is nice to hear all the several sounds nature brings you! My occasional trip 'down' to the village was done by a shuttle-service car with chauffeur, that looked much like a golf-cart. I took one dive-trip to Menjangan Island. That was great. So nice to be diving again! Great coral
reefs there, great fishes. I loved it.

Jenny Rozak & Parents: Total relaxation

Total relaxation!

My parents and I spent 6 days at Villa Jeda, Pemuteran Bali. Pemuteran is a very quiet little village at the north coast of Bali. From the main road you would never expect such a fantastic villa. The villa completely blends in with nature and stands on a large property.

On arrival we were greeted and showed around by the hosts, Bart and Nico. They really made us feel welcome from the start. The bedrooms are spacious and the bathrooms are huge, with fresh flowers every day. Thank you Made!
Pemuteran is famous for it's diving and snorkeling, but we spend most of our time floating around in the beautiful, very well kept pool and reading our books in the comfy Bale. At night when we wanted to go out for dinner, one of the hosts or Selamat would drive us in their golf card to the beach. I tell you that doesn't go unnoticed in Pemuteran. Great fun!!
I would certainly recommend this villa to everybody would loves tranquility! We were sad to leave.

Jenny Rozak
